Hut Inn: Exceptional American Dining with Every Bite

Cozy, family friendly restaurant. Great customer service. Check out the menu online for a full list of items. Sandwiches. Entrees. The Reuben was very tasty. The fish and chips were good. They have ice cream and root beer floats. Customer service is great.

This was a nice place, the floor was a bit dirty but it was near the end of the day also they opened the main doors and i got bit by a lot of mosquitoes; I got to try the roast beef, country fried steak and their bacon liver they’re pretty good except the country fried steak was like a sponge it wasn’t really a steak i guess but the gravy on it was super good the menu has quite a lot of things on it also the Michigan wild rice and mashed potato’s were fine the potatoes kinda tasted instant, the chili was really good not to strong or salty as well as not to bland I came her for my birthday and got free ice cream as well as 15$ off, the waitress was really nice and attentive. Pretty nice place overall and not bad prices for the portion sizes and what comes with them.

Delicious! We ordered online to-go and the food was ready right on time. I was greeted with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, and the food is super tasty! We got the fish and chips and The Waterfront, both great quality, fresh, and flavorful. Will definitely be back!

Been wanting to eat here for years. Never worked out or it was just to busy to get in. I guess it helps to go in late Oct. I got the two piece cod dinner with slaw and fries. Not sure what was in the slaw but it was very good. The fries were salted which is always a bonus. The French Silk pie I had with dinner was a huge piece. I'll be coming here again.

Great Food and Warm Atmosphere! Stopped in at The Hut Restaurant while traveling through the Upper Peninsula and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious with generous portions, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel right at home. The rustic lodge atmosphere adds the perfect touch — cozy, welcoming, and full of local charm. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!

Such a cute place inside, it was unexpected! I had the cowboy burger with onion rings (I suggest getting a side of BBQ sauce to top off the burger since there wasn't much in there) and my husband had the Jalapeño Burger with fries. Everything was delicious! The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside, which is the best way to make them (in my opinion).

Really kind and considerate staff and these people know how to do comfort food! We arrived pretty bedraggled on a Friday night an hour before closing. The food down to the lettuce was fresh and everything was so flavorful. They took care of us like they had all the time in the world. Try the chopped steak and the BLT. Hot Fudge Sundae as big as your head!

Our 1st time here today. FYI, the booths are cute, but are from the beginning of time, so choose a table for stability instead! Looked at the menu ahead of time. I had a roast beef 1/2 sandwiche with Tuscan chicken soup, and husband had country fried steak. He loved his! I loved mine was great too! Enjoy my pictures. Loved our waitress! The decor is crazy in here. Shingles on the INSIDE ceiling!
